By downloading, installing, or using LedgerPad ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
LedgerPad is a professional invoicing, customer management, inventory tracking, and HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) VAT compliance application for iOS. The App is provided by BTLTECH LTD.
LedgerPad offers auto-renewable subscription plans:
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. They automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
The free tier allows limited use: up to 5 invoices per month, 5 customers, and 20 inventory items. PDFs generated on the free tier include a LedgerPad watermark. These limits may change at our discretion.
The MTD VAT feature (Business plan) connects to HMRC's Making Tax Digital API. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any VAT returns submitted through the App. BTLTECH LTD is not a tax adviser and does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for tax matters.
Card payment features use Zettle by PayPal. Your use of Zettle is subject to PayPal's terms of service. Online payment links use Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. BTLTECH LTD does not process or store card payment details.
You are responsible for:
Your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not access, sell, or share your business data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
LedgerPad, its design, code, and content are owned by BTLTECH LTD. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BTLTECH LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses, incorrect VAT submissions, or data loss.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
